"Foundation stone" Quai Henri IV

Three years after winning the competiton and followed by a rigorous design process and detailing, the Foundation stone ceremony for LIN´s building Quai Henri IV being developed by Altarea Cogedim investor, was held on the 9th of April in Paris.

This signifies the start of construction a very ambitious project, located in the heart of Paris located across the 4th arrondissement. This project comprises acquisition and social housing units and a kindergarten designed with careful consideration of its urban surroundings.

The project has an exceptional panorama of the historical city: Notre-Dame de Paris, Île Saint-Louis and Le Jardin des Plantes.
The project is part of an urban complex consisting of residential buildings from the 70’s and 90’s and a set of Haussmann buildings.

The building follows the urban continuity. It smoothly fits into its context through a curved geometry: free running and continuous balconies and generous large windows.
